Everyone knows that steak and beer go together, but you might not have known that they go together like this.

Taking time the day before you cook a steak, and soaking it in a great beer marinade, will leave it fabulously flavored and as tender as can be! You can marinate your steaks, or cut them up and make a great kabob. Either way, you'll find that planning ahead is well worth it. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 1/4 cup beer
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Bowl
  • Marinating dish

Instructions

      Thaw your steak if necessary, and assemble ingredients.

      Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.

      Set your steak or steaks in a deep dish. Pour marinade over and let them soak the day before cooking, flipping halfway through. Then simply grill your steaks, or cook inside, as you would normally.
