Deciding how you can afford to get a college degree can be a daunting process. The cost of tuition is rising and many people feel that college may not be in the cards for themselves or their children in these tough economic times, There is a way though that many people are able to get an education and earn a college degree without incurring any debt by doing a little planning in advance.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first step in earning a college degree and to get low to free tuition costs is to find out what colleges in you area offer tuition remission programs for employees and what the requirements are to earn the benefit of classes for yourself and family.

  2. Step 2

The next step is to find out what campus positions are available at the colleges that offer degree programs that you are interested in for yourself or family. Remember that a University has longer term benifits and you could earn your masters in your chosen field.

  3. Step 3

When you look at the available campus positions consider the fact that even though there might just be opening for a cafeteria worker or janitor you may still want to apply because you will get the tuition benifits when they apply . You could look for another position when other campus jobs open up. I earned my college degree and my daughter also got hers when I worked as a security guard in a top rated private educational institution . Not a bad bonus to my weekly paycheck .
