Step 1
Sell photos online to get extra cash~~Sell photos online~~
One easy way to make money online is to put those vacation photos to good use by selling the photos online. Simply upload your best photos to sites such as shutterstock.com or kodak.com and start earning money every time one of your photos is downloaded. At shutterstock.com, you can even earn money for referring people who buy photos - a double plus to lining your pockets with extra cash. And, as a bonus, your photos will bring in residual income for as long as they're posted to the internet sites - you'll make money as you sleep. -
Step 2
Make money online by listing items not needed any longer - don't tell the dogs!~~Make money online with online auctions~~
Now might be the time to look around your house and list items which are gathering dust. Do you really need that old tv? List your items on auction sites such as ebay.com or, if you prefer to save the commission, head over to craigslist.com (beware though, craigslist.com is largely unmonitored so watch for scam artists). -
Step 3
~~Make extra cash by signing up for online writing sites~~
Quite obviously, eHow is the BEST writing site and can be quite lucrative, but there are many other sites on which to make money online with your articles. Head over to examiner.com and apply to be either a regional or national examiner. You'll have to submit an application and get approved but it's not very hard - I did it! -
Step 4
~~Sign up for social bookmarking sites to market your work~~
Sites such as redgage.com will make you money just from adding links to documents, uploading pictures or listing your blog. This social bookmarking site earns you money based on the amount of views your items receive. Base pay appears to start around $.80 for 1000 views but, if your article/picture or blog spot is picked up by other internet networking sites, those extra pennies can really add up. -
Step 5
~~Monetize your online blog~~
Sign up for google adsense and start putting advertisements right on your blog. The google bot will crawl your blog (in people speak, this means that they'll figure out what your blog is about...) and will place relevant ads right on your blog.
You'll do best having just one topic per blog - my personal blog (http://gertiesgalavants.blogspot.com/) documents my travels with my 92 year old mother so the ads aren't particularly relevant as my blog rambles about general life activities. Google is definitely confused! But, by keeping your blog on one topic, you'll basically give Google adwords the opportunity to target market for ads.
