How to cancel a Google account

A Google account gives a user free access to the growing amount of features and programs that they offer. The great thing about Google is that they let you cancel your account with no questions asked. This tutorial will show you how to close your Google account.

Things You'll Need:

• Internet
• Google Account

1. Sign into the Google account that you want to delete. Once you are on Google's homepage go to the Google Account Settings. To get there just click on the option labeled "My Account". This will be in the top right corner of your screen on your Google homepage and is positioned next to the label with your email address on it.
   
   If you do not see this option then go to www.google.com and you should see it if you are signed in.

2. Follow the Edit link next to My products.

3. Click the option close account and delete all services and info associated with it.

Tips & Warnings

• Google will let you delete specific services if you do not want to delete your entire account.
• This will permanently delete your account and all of your data associated with this account.
