Instructions

    • 1

Peel and slice four to six medium size peaches. If you blanch the peaches in boiling water for a few seconds, then put them in cold water to cool quickly, you can easily slip the peeling off the peach. This method is a little faster than peeling each peach with a knife.

    • 2

Slice the peaches and set aside.

    • 3

Mix together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of milk in a medium bowl. Stir in cinnamon and ground cloves. The batter should be slightly thick, but a little thinner than biscuit consistency. If it’s too thin, add a little more flour.

    • 4

Spray an oven-safe casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the batter into casserole bowl. Put peach slices on top of batter. Do not stir peaches into batter.

    • 5

Place casserole bowl into a 350 F oven. Cook 30 to 40 minutes until top is slightly brown. You can test for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the cobbler. If it comes out clean, the cobbler is done.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you would like, you can serve this cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
