Air Hockey Table

Air hockey is a game played by two individuals. A puck is used, but in air hockey the puck floats on air, which comes up out of the hard surface of the table. Each player is given a round mallet to defend their goal. The individual with the most points at the end of the designated time frame wins. In order to keep the air flow at its best, you must take proper care of your air hockey table.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pool-table cover Sand paper All-purpose cleaner Rag
  1. Step 1

Purchase a pool-table cover to place over your air hockey table when not in use. This will keep dust and dirt from settling in the air holes on the table.

  2. Step 2

Use an all-purpose cleaner to clean the top and sides of your puck and mallets. Only use a small amount to remove any oils that get on the puck and mallets from your hands touching them.

  3. Step 3

Use a low-grade sand paper to sand the bottom of the hockey puck and mallets. Move the sand paper around in a circular motion until the dirt has been removed. Wipe the dust from the sand paper with a dry rag.

  4. Step 4

Clean the sides of the hockey table and the legs with an all-purpose cleaner. Spray the rag and then wipe. Do not spray the cleaner onto the table because some of the mist could end up in the air holes of the hockey table.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you do not have a pool-table cover you can use a sheet.
  • Do not use any cleaner on the surface of the air hockey table. You will clog the air holes and stop the table from working.
