How to Do a Hard Reset on an Iphone

Are you having problems with your iphone? Is it locking up on you or just not working correctly? Try these steps to perform a Hard Reset.

Instructions

Step 1

There are not a lot of steps so this is going to be fairly easy. First be sure that your iphone is backed up on i-tunes if your able to, otherwise you might loose any unsaved information since your last backup on i-tunes.
Step 2

Plug the iphone into the computer and have i-tunes up and running.
Step 3

Press the power button (the one on top) and the round button (on the front bottom, otherwise known as the Home Button) at the same time until the apple sign appears, as soon as the apple sign appears let go of the power button (there will be a ding noise on the computer indicating that an iphone is connected) and continue to hold the button on the front until you see the screen that says to connect to itunes.
Step 4

At this point i-tunes will want to restore the iphone, you will select ok and then the process will begin of restoring the software and all the contacts and other info you previously saved to i-tunes.
