How to Clean and Season a Waffle Iron
Waffles are a delicious breakfast treat, and can be fun to make. Whether you own a cast iron waffle maker, or an electric one, it's important to properly clean it to remove crumbs or baked-on residue after each use. Seasoning your cast iron waffle maker prior to each use helps create a non-stick surface. Most electric waffle makers have non-stick grids built into the unit and do not require seasoning, but you may, however, coat the grids with a non-stick spray before each waffle. Does this Spark an idea?
