Clean Nintendo 64 Games

Nintendo 64 games are expensive, especially if purchased new. In addition, sometimes games are retired and difficult to find. This is why if your favorite game becomes dirty or stops working properly, you should take a minute to clean it. When finished, your restored game should look new and may work like new as well.

Instructions

    • 1

Wet a Magic Clean Eraser and rub the outside of your Nintendo 64 game. This will remove any writing, dirt, grime or sticky residue.

    • 2

Wet a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol. (It should be wet, but not be dripping.)

    • 3

Rub both sides of the connectors (the part that goes into the game console) with the cotton swab. If the cotton swab gets dirty, use a second one. When done, allow the alcohol to dry thoroughly.
