Now a days Americans are overly concerned about getting healthy. There is no better time to get your famiy on board and start getting in shape together. The one way to do this is to start a family fitness challenge.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start by sitting down as a famiy and set a weekly fitness goal for everyone. For example, if a each member in a family of four exercises 30 minutes each day, three times a week, the family's goal would be to exercise a total of six hours per week. As time progresses, increase that goal a little each week or monthly. Make sure it fits in with your family's fitness abilities and needs.

  2. Step 2

Make a chart with 30 minute blocks on it. Make sure you have enough to match your goal. However, it would be better to add a few more to see if your family pulls together and beats the goal set each week.

  3. Step 3

Assign everyone in your family a color. Then as each member works out and exercises for they can color in a block with their color for each 30 minutes they exercise. You can even make a game out of it and see who can exercise the most one week. Or who is the most excited about this. Make it fun and the entire family will work harder to get in shape together.
