You can shape fused glass into useful vessels, bowls, plates or platters by placing the fused glass in a slumping mold and firing the glass in a glass fusing kiln at a slump temperature. This tutorial will explain how to slump glass in a bisque mold.
Complete the fused glass you will slump. Identify the mold that you want to use with your fused glass piece. The mold you use will influence how the design is viewed so keep the shape of the mold in mind when designing your fused glass art.
Prepare the bisque slump mold with kiln wash. If you do not know how to prepare a slump mold see our eHow How to Prepare a Slump Mold with Kiln Wash for Fused Glass at http://www.ehow.com/how_5137876_prepare-kiln-wash-fused-glass.html or click the link for additional fused glass tutorials in the resource section of this tutorial.
After the mold is dry, put the mold in the glass kiln.

2 Full 1250 6 min.
3 Full 960 1 hour
4 150 750 0
Note that your slump schedule will change depending on the thickness of the fused glass used and the shape and depth of the slump mold.
