How To View Search History

The Internet is a wonderful place to look for almost anything. There is more information online now than in all the books in the world. Unfortunately, this plenty has a drawback. It can be hard to find exactly what you are looking for and, if you find it, it can be hard to find again if you don't save it. If you happen to lose a site you have visited, the best thing to do is to go to your search history to find it.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Internet Explorer. Go to "View", then "Explorer Bars" and click "History." A window will open on the left that allows you to view the history by name, date visited or most visited. Scroll through to find what you want.

    • 2

Open Firefox, select "History," and click "View All History." The sites will be organized in the left window by date visited, but you can adjust this to select the sites you have visited today, this week or this month.

    • 3

Open AOL. Click on "View," and select "History." The window that opens lists the sites visited, the number of times you visited them, and shows a little thumbnail of the site.
