Following a few basic principles will set you on your way to being a psychic.

1. Study and learn all you can about human body language. Learn body language to help you read and interpret the person you are reading. Body language is your feedback to determine if you are on the right track. Noticing subtle changes will help you give a better reading.

   For example, a person will often cross their arms if they aren't receptive to a conversation. Others will glance down slightly when uncomfortable with what is being talked about.

2. Practice observation. Enter a new location. Look around. Close your eyes. Mentally list everything you can remember in the room. This will increase your attention to detail and observation to make you a better psychic.

3. Learn popular trends, personality characteristics and traits. Observe the person and determine some of their personality traits to be a psychic. Read their body language as you make statements to adjust your reading.

   For example, a Type A personality would be a workaholic. In your psychic reading, you can mention that they value work and are dedicated to meeting deadlines. They are punctual. If they smile, you're on the right path. If they fidget, you might want to adjust the reading and try a different set of characteristics.

4. Offer vague information during the first part of the reading. Present yourself as thinking and concentrating on them. Make eye contact. Glance up and down their body. Start with a smile and change your facial expression to thoughtful and concentrating as you tune into them. Presentation as a psychic will help you get better feedback from body language and make your predictions or statements seem more accurate.
