How to Get iTunes Music on Windows Movie Maker

One of the great movie making software products available on the market is Windows Movie Maker. Windows Movie Maker is user friendly and has many different components that will turn home videos into cool digital movies. With Windows Movie Maker, you can add special effects, as well as interesting transitioning graphics when you change scenes. You can even set your digital movie to music. While not all Windows programs are compatible with iTunes, Windows Movie Maker is. Importing music from your iTunes library into Windows Movie Maker is very easy.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open Windows Movie Maker. If you don't have a short cut for the software on your computer's desktop, simply type the word "maker" in your search bar and click on "Windows Movie Maker" from the available programs that come up.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the Import Media folder.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the Music folder and then double click on the iTunes folder when it pops up.

  4. Step 4

    Select the iTunes music folder by double clicking on it, and then scroll down and choose the song you would like to import into Windows Movie Maker.

  5. Step 5

    Click on the title of the song you would like to add and then click on "Import." You have now added your iTunes song to your Windows Movie Maker project.

Tips & Warnings
  • Play with all of the special effects and transition buttons to get a feel for the program.
