If you have a need to remove the SIM card from your iPhone and you don't care about Apple's warranty being broken, then here is how to do it...

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First, please keep in mind that the removal of the SIM card may void Apples warranty on the phone. So, ONLY DO IT IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS.

  2. Step 2

At the top of the iPhone, you will find a thin outline of a slot between the headphone jack and the power button. You'll also see a hole on this slot close to the headphone jack.

  3. Step 3

Insert one end of a paper clip into the hole and press down until the slot pops up revealing a small carrier tray with the SIM card on it. You can remove the SIM card from the tray.

  4. Step 4

To put the card back in the iPhone, put it in the tray first and slide them back in the slot. This should be easy to do.
