As your first step you will need to find a website that offers free people searches. I recommend using zabasearch.com or peoplefinder.com (More in my resources section below). These websites offer thorough people searches in every state of the U.S.

Once you are on the website simply enter the first and last name along with the state of residence of the person you are looking for. Note that you have the option of conducting an "advanced search". The advanced search option will narrow down and refine your search by you entering additional information such as birth year, city, and middle name of the person you are looking for. Once you have entered all required information press "search".

Depending on how many people have the name that you are looking for, you may get several results. To find the particular person you are looking for view the additional information next to the results, match the address, phone number or birthday with the person you are seeking.
