How to sign up for MySpace

Myspace one of the orignal pioneers of social networking.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Internet
• keyboard
• email address
• mouse computer

1. 
   MySpace in address bar

   Open your internet browser whether you use Internet explorer firefox or another. Once open type in http://www.myspace.com

   Sign Up Link

   Press enter and this will take you to the myspace home page. To the right about middle of the screen there is an option there, for logging in or signing up. Click where it says “sign up”.

   Requested Sign Up Information

   On the next page, after clicking on sign up you will be asked to provide some information. Email address, password, name, date of birth and gender.

   Security Code to enter

   Fill in the information with what you would like to use for your email address and password, then enter the remaining information, and click on “sign up”. After clicking on sign up the next window will have a security code for you to enter.

   Adding friends

   Enter the code requested and then click on continue, once complete you can add friends from your email contacts, or choose to skip this step.

6. If you wish to find friends, then enter the password for the email you used, if not click where it says “skip this step” once you click on “skip this step”.

   The next screen that comes up will tell you that you have received an email and that you will need to confirm that email.

   Next log into your email account you used to sign up, and find the email from myspace for account confirmation.

   Open the email and click on the link inside the email
   
   Once done, and you have clicked on the link, you will be brought to the myspace page in a step where you can upload a photo of yourself, or skip this step.

    Log in step one, after email confirmation

    When you click on “skip this step” this will bring you to the page where you can add a school, you can of course add a school, for now we will use the same “skip this step” option, all of this can be added later.

11. 
    Location Steps

    After clicking on skip this step for adding a school, then you add your location, so your friends can find you.

12. Once completed, click on start using myspace, you have now signed up and are using the myspace social networking site.

• Remember the email you used
• remember the password you used.
• Keep the confirmation email
• NEVER give out your password to anybody
• NEVER give out your log in information either
