How to Download Music Onto the PSP

Are you looking to transfer music from the PC to your PSP? There are a few methods to get your music onto the PSP, but here are instructions that don't include any extra downloads or additional products.

The PSP can be a great way to listen to music anywhere, once you learn how to download music. Follow these instructions to find out how.

Things You'll Need:

• PSP
• USB cable
• Music files

1. Check to see if the music files are in correct format. MP3, MP4, WAVE and WMA are all acceptable formats. If the files are in a different format, they will need to be converted.

2. Using the home button on the PSP, navigate to settings > USB connection

3. Select USB connection and wait for the computer to display “New device has been connected.” Click on the removable disk drive letter that shows up.

4. Make a new folder for the PSP on your computer.

5. Create a folder in the PSP file and name it “music”

6. Now copy the music files into the newest folder, and press “o” on your PSP to exit.

7. Find “memory stick” in your music section on the PSP. You will find the songs that were downloaded there.
