Sell your books. If you're a student or a recent grad, sell your textbooks. This is by far one of the best things to sell if you want to make a fairly large amount of money. More and more unemployed people are going back to school, which means the student population is ever growing. Every student needs textbooks. Websites like half.com and amazon.com are recommended because they are easy and safe to use. eBay.com will also work.

Get published. If you are a decent writer with decent grammar skills, you can have your articles published on websites such as eHow.com and AssociatedContent.com. If your articles attract a large population like bees on honey, chances are that you can get paid. It's not a large amount, but if you're desperate... why not?

Donate blood. Some blood banks and centers will actually pay you for your blood, platelets, plasma, etc. You'll be doing a good deed at the same time. Many blood centers do have certain requirements before you can donate blood. Mostly, you must be 18 or older and at least 110 pounds. Check to make sure.

Blog. Yes, you've heard this again and again, but it works. However, this requires a bit of effort. Choose one topic you are interested in and stick to it. Then, promote the site. Tell your friends, family, your ex-coworkers. Announce it on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, your AOL profile, etc. If you get enough hits, many websites will pay you to have their ads on your site.

Take surveys. This also takes a fair amount of time, but if you have nothing to do but sit on your tush all day, you might as well spend that time making some money. I recommend sites like Your2Cents.com and SurveySavvy.com. These two sites give a fair amount of invites. If you put your time into checking your email everyday, chances are you will get an invite. Join all the survey sites you can find to maximize income. My suggestion is to make an email address dedicated to survey sites.
