   Sell your books. If you're a student or a recent grad, sell your textbooks. This is by far one of the best things to sell if you want to make a fairly large amount of money. More and more unemployed people are going back to school, which means the student population is ever growing. Every student needs textbooks. Websites like half.com and amazon.com are recommended because they are easy and safe to use. eBay.com will also work.

   Sell your other items. Got a collection of CDs collecting dust? Sell em! Ladies, got a closet full of designer shoes and clothes that you never wear? Sell em! Got old electronics? Sell em! Websites like eBay.com are a great way to start. Craigslist also works, but beware of scams and frauds.

3. 

   Get published. If you are a decent writer with decent grammar skills, you can have your articles published on websites such as eHow.com and AssociatedContent.com. If your articles attract a large population like bees on honey, chances are that you can get paid. It's not a large amount, but if you're desperate... why not?

4. 

   Donate blood. Some blood banks and centers will actually pay you for your blood, platelets, plasma, etc. You'll be doing a good deed at the same time. Many blood centers do have certain requirements before you can donate blood. Mostly, you must be 18 or older and at least 110 pounds. Check to make sure.

   Invest in the stock market. Yes, this is risky business, but think of it like this: the stock market is having a sale. Hold on to these stocks and expect to make some money within a year or two. Please buy at your own risk!
