How to Make Easter Bonnets for Boys

Knit a gauge swatch. Your gauge should be 28 stitches and 36 rows to 4 inches. Choose a needle and yarn that produces this gauge, or adjust stitches accordingly. Work 8 rows in moss stitch. On row one, knit 2, purl 2 across the row. Work in a purl 2, knit 2 pattern for rows two and three. Work row four in a knit 2, purl 2 pattern across the row to start your boy's Easter bonnet.
