Choose a coloring page of Lightning McQueen from any Disney Cars coloring book. Tear it out. Using scissors, cut away any excess design from the page, leaving only Lightning McQueen.

Scan the image of Lightning McQueen using your graphic editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Picture It or Microsoft Paint.

Set the document size to "letter" and the orientation of the page to "portrait." Drag the image of Lightning McQueen to the lower half of the page and resize it to fit. The image should measure approximately 5 inches high by 8 inches wide.

Use the paint tools and color palette to fill in the blank space on Lightning McQueen with the proper colors, just as if you were coloring the page.

Print the Lightning McQueen invitations onto white card stock using a high quality setting on your printer.

Open a new letter sized document in your graphics editing software. Use the text tool to type information about the party: the date, time and the guest of honor. Place all text in the bottom half of the page, in the same spot the image was on the previous page.

Place the Lightning McQueen invitations back into the printer as directed by the manufacturer for printing two-sided. Print the party information onto the blank side of the card stock.

Fold the Lightning McQueen invitations in half, just at the top of the image. Use sharp scissors to cut away the excess white card stock around Lightning McQueen. This step is optional. Leaving the invitations square is OK, too.
