Most people are not aware that you can recycle cables and cords. Everyone knows about cans, bottles, etc. but you can recycle your used cables and cords the same way that you can recycle cans and bottle. 1. You can recycle cables and cords when you are not using them anymore. Recycling these items can make a big difference because everyone has them in their home, if everyone took the initiative to recycle these items instead of just throw them away we could save a lot of unnecessary waste that is dumped into the planet.

2. 

   To recycle these items you can take them to local centers all over the country. These centers will handle everything for you, you just have to gather the items and bring them to these centers. You can find these recycling centers by going to Earth 911(there is a link to the website listed below).

3. When you go to the Earth 911 page you will enter you city and state in the top of the website. Once you have entered the information a list of recycling centers close to you(sorted by distance) will appear. These recycling centers are open for normal business hours. This is the best way to recycle cables and cords...or anything else that can be reused for that matter.

• Instead of throwing out your cables, cords etc. take them to your local recycling center so they can be reused.
