Here's how to reduce the puffiness and dark circles under your eyes, for a younger, healthier appearance, and more beautiful looking eyes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first step in reducing puffiness and dark circles under and around your eyes is to prevent the problem in the first place. Lack of hydration, and lack of enough quality sleep are the main culprits. If you are drinking enough water and getting enough sleep, the puffiness can be reduced dramatically.

  2. Step 2

Another way to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles is to reduce your exposure to allergens that affect you.

  3. Step 3

There are several natural ways to help with the dark circles under your eyes. You can use natural foods to help prevent and reduce eye puffiness as well. Cucumbers, zucchini, ginger, and chamomile tea bags all work well.

  4. Step 4

If you need a quick fix, you can always use a concealer or cover up. Just make sure you use a good concealer with moisturizer, so you won't be making the problem worse later.

on 7/5/2009 I find this hard to believe, but I heard models use Preparation H under their eyes........ I have never tried it - shrugs - wouldn't be game to either......

on 6/15/2009 I didn't know chamomile tea was good for under-eye puffiness. It's worth a try.
