Things You'll Need

  • Paper towels
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

  • Unsalted butter
  • Honey

      Soften the butter either in the microwave or on the stove. In the bowl, combine 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, 2 tbsp. honey and 1/2 cup of honey. Mix these ingredients with the spoon.

      With your fingers, apply this mixture to your face, avoiding the delicate tissues around the eyes. Wait 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse and gently pat your face dry with a towel.

      Tear a paper towel into strips 1 to 2 inches wide. Moisten the strips with witch hazel. Apply the moistened strips to your face. Wait at least 15 minutes. Gently remove the strips from your face.

Tips & Warnings

  • As an alternate moisturizer, smash a soft avocado and apply it to your face. Wait 30 minutes before rinsing and drying with a towel.

  • Use only unsalted butter. Salted butter can dry and irritate skin.
