1
PB & Disk
Gently clean the disk with a lint free cloth to remove any dust or debris from the surface of the disk.
-
2
Smear from the Center to the Outer Edge
Smear peanut butter on the disk with your finger (Do I need to mention that it should be "smooth' peanut butter, not chunky?). It is best to spread the peanut butter from the center of the disk to the outside perimeter of the disk (See photo).

Wipe Gently in the Same Direction Peanut Butter was Applied
Using a lint free or other soft cloth, gently wipe the peanut butter off of the disk in the same direction (center to outside) as you applied it. Ensure you remove all visible peanut butter.

Protect Your Disks!
Protect your disks! Leaving expensive disks lying around and not properly stored is asking for trouble. However, if you happen to (or lend a disk to someone that is sure to), try this trick before throwing the disk away.
