How to Make Beautiful Peacock Feather Earrings
The gorgeous feathers of a peacock make beautiful jewelry. Feathers can be found at craft stores in various sizes. You can choose to use large or small feathers to make single or multiple-feather earrings. Dress up a simple outfit, go bohemian chic or simply add some extra funk to your ensemble with multi-colored peacock feather earrings. This project includes a beaded accent, but feel free to omit it if you prefer a more simple look.

1
Insert the end of a peacock feather into the open end of the cord coil. Pinch the bottom coil loop with a pair of flat-nosed pliers until closed and secure. Hold one side of a jump ring with the flat-nosed pliers and one side with the round-nosed pliers. Twist the round-nosed pliers to open the jump ring, then attach a length of chain or more jump rings and the closed end of the cord coil. Twist the jump ring closed and repeat the process with as many peacock feathers as you like.

Slip one to three beads onto a head pin, trim the pin to a quarter of an inch above the top bead with a pair of wire cutters, then bend the excess section back at a 90 degree angle. Press your thumb nail against the inside corner of the angle, then grasp the end of the pin with the round-nosed pliers. Use your thumb as resistance and curl the pin around the pliers to create a closed loop. Repeat at least once more, or create as many of these dangles as you like.
