1
Put on a pair of kilt hose.
-
2
Open the buckle of the horizontal strap on a pair of buckle brogues. Slide your foot into the shoe and fasten the strap down by closing the buckle.
-
-
3
Loosen the laces of ghillie brogues as necessary so that your foot can slide into the shoe and place your foot inside.
-
4
Tighten the laces so that the shoe fits comfortably. Tie a single knot at your ankle.
-
5
Hold onto the ends of the lace and pull upwards. Wind the ends around each other, crossing them six times so that the twisted portion of the lace going up your ankle measures about 2 inches.
-
6
Bring the two ends to the back of your leg and cross them over each other. Bring the two ends back to the front.
-
7
Tie the two ends together as you usually would, tightening the lace around your leg. Finish by tying the two ends in a double knot.
