How to Get Regis in Diamond

The Pokémon Regigigas

The "Regi" Pokémon include Regice, Regirock, Registeel, and Regigigas. They vary in type and are Ice, Rock, Steel and Normal respectively. Only Regigigas appears in the Pokémon Diamond game. The other three can be migrated into Diamond using the GBA slot (Game Boy Advanced) on the Nintendo DS. You can catch Regice, Regirock and Registeel in the Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald versions of Pokemon GBA.

Things You'll Need

• Nintendo DS
• Pokémon Diamond for DS
• GBA Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald cartrige with Regice, Regirock, and Registeel already caught.

Instructions

Import Pokémon to Diamond from GBA

1. Turn off the Nintendo DS system.

2. Insert the Pokémon Diamond DS cartridge in the DS cartridge slot at the back of the system.

3. 

   Insert the GBA Pokémon cartridge in the GBA slot on the front of the DS system.

4. Turn the DS system on and touch the Pokémon Diamond panel to start the game.

5. Press the D-pad down to highlight the "Migrate from GBA" command and touch "Yes" to migrate Pokémon. Note: Pokémon migrated to DS cannot return to GBA.

6. Touch the Pokémon you want to migrate. In this case, you want to choose Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.

7. Touch "Yes" to start the migration.

Catch the Migrated Pokémon

1. Restart the Pokémon Diamond game.

2. Beat the Pokémon League in battle and obtain the National Pokédex.

3. Travel to the Pal Park, which is accessed via the beach south of Sandgem town. You will need the HM Surf to get to it, or you can use the HM Fly to reach it once you have beat the Pokémon League and have the National Pokédex.

4. Enter the Pal Park and walk around until you encounter Regice, Regirock, and Registeel. You must catch them and add them to your Pokémon storage.

Meet Regigigas

1. Fly to Snowpoint City.

2. Visit the Pokémon Center and add the three Regi's you caught in the Pal Park to your traveling party.

3. Go to Snowpoint Temple at the north end of the city.

4. Battle Regigigas on the bottom floor to catch him.

Tips & Warnings

• Try Quick Balls and Ultra Balls when catching Regigigas. This information also applies to the Pokémon Pearl and Platinum games for DS. You can migrate up to six Pokémon from the same GBA game every 24 hours.
