How to Make a Punch Bowl Cake
Make a cake that will be a sure winner at social events. With boxed cake mix, pudding, fruit and a few other ingredients, you can whip up a tasty treat to serve in a punch bowl. It will feed a large number of hungry mouths as well.

- Punch bowl
- 1 box of yellow or white cake mix
- 2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
- 16-ounce container of whipped topping
- 3 pints of fresh sliced strawberries
- 1 package of strawberry glaze
- 1 large can of crushed pineapple

Bake the cake mix according to the directions on the box. Let the cake cool completely.

Tear or cut the cake up into small pieces. Layer half of the cake in the bottom of a punch bowl and reserve the rest for later.

Mix the pudding according to the directions on the box. Pour half of the pudding over the layer of cake in the bottom of the punch bowl.

Mix the sliced strawberries and glaze together. Place half of the strawberry mix over the pudding in the punch bowl.

Spread half of the whipped topping over the layers in the punch bowl.

Drain the pineapple and put half of it over the whipped topping in the punch bowl.

Repeat the process of layers with the remaining ingredients.

Chill in the fridge for at least two hours before serving. Simply serve with a large serving spoon.

Tips & Warnings
For a festive look , add extra whipped topping and sliced strawberries on top of the cake.
Bananas can be added to the mix, if desired
Angel food cake can be substituted as well.
