How to Remove an Adult Friend Finder Pop Up

Save

Adult Friend Finder is a pay Internet service promising users access to a database of single men and women living in their same area. Occasionally certain sites feature a pop-up advertisement for Adult Friend Finder, which pops up on a user's screen and is generally irritating. In the past there wasn't much you could do about these kinds of pop-up advertisements, but that isn't the case anymore.

  • Open your Web browser. Go to your browser's "Internet Options" setting. In Firefox, select "Options" from the "Tools" drop-down menu. In Internet Explorer, select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" drop-down menu.

  • Click on the "Content" tab in the window that pops up in Firefox. If you're using Internet Explorer, click on the "Privacy" tab.

  • Make sure the box next to "Block Pop Up Windows" is checked. This will enable the browser's built-in pop-up advertisement blocking functionality, which will disable any ads before they appear--including the ad for Adult Friend Finder.
