How to Recover Text Messages From an iPhone

A frustrating mistake for many, deleting important text messages can be a headache for the forgetful. In the case that important texts are deleted, important or personal numbers, instructions, directions or information can be lost. With a modern device like the iPhone, text messages can be recovered in the same way that songs, contacts, pictures and other files can be recovered.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Connect your iPhone to your computer, using the USB cord provided by Apple.

  2. Step 2

    Wait for your iTunes program to open, and select the "Sync" button in your iPhone options.

  3. Step 3

    Wait for your iPhone information to complete updating, and remove your iPhone from your computer.

  4. Step 4

    Open the text messaging application on your iPhone, and the messages present on your phone when it was last synced with your computer will be restored, along with the messages that are on your phone currently.
