How to Play Drums Online

Playing an online virtual drum set can be a way for kids to pass the time. These drum sets can also serve as an online tutorial for individuals attempting to learn to play the drums because they can learn how to keep a beat and learn the sounds for the different drums in the set. Use the websites listed here to play drums online for free.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Play drums on the PC Man website (see Resources). After you log onto the website, the virtual drum machine will appear in the middle of the page. Letters will appear over each portion of the drum set. Press the corresponding letter on your keyboard to play that particular drum or cymbal. You can also use your mouse to play the different portions of the drum set.

  2. Step 2

    Go to the Abasoft Drums Online Game website (see Resources). The drum set will load after a few seconds. Click the "Keys" tab in the top left of the drum set to read the instructions. You can also put the mouse over each drum and then click your mouse to play that drum.

  3. Step 3

    Use the Buckle Virtual Drum Set website (see Resources). The drum set will automatically load in the middle of the Web page. Read the "Use the number keys to play" instructions listed above the drum set before playing. You can also play the drums by placing your mouse over each drum and then clicking the mouse.

  4. Step 4

    Log onto the Flash Drums Online Game website (see Resources). This website actually contains both a virtual drum set and a virtual keyboard. To play this drum set, you will need to put your mouse over each different drum. Clicking your mouse will play that one particular drum.
