How to Capture a Screen
You have probably encountered a situation when you needed to explain to a technical support person what exactly was going on with your computer screen. One way to visually describe what is happening is to use the screen capture feature of Windows. By pressing just one button on your keyboard you can copy the image of your screen, save it and then email it. Alternatively, you can even edit or print the image as well.

1
Press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard to capture everything on your computer screen and copy it to the clipboard. If you only want a copy of a currently opened window, you can hold down the "Alt" key and press "Print Screen." The screen capture will remain in the clipboard until you paste it where you want it to go, such as a graphic editing program.

2
Open a drawing, word processing, graphic program or presentation program on your PC, such as Microsoft Paint, Word, PowerPoint or Adobe Photoshop.

3
