Things You'll Need:
- a plastic ball
- some wiffle balls
-
Step 1
To play wiffle ball, you need to have a plastic bat and at least two wiffle balls (incase you lose one). If you don't have these, you can buy them at any toy store or sports store.
-
Step 2
Go outside either in your yard, or a large area of land. Wiffle balls get hit far so you need a lot of space to play in.
-
Step 3
Pitching a wiffle ball is one of the coolest things to do. It is amazing what you can do with a wiffle ball. I will teach you the three basic pitches. To throw a fastball, grip the ball with the holes on top. To throw a curve ball, grip the ball with the holes on the left. To throw a slider, grip the ball with the holes on the right. Throw the ball faster to get more spin.
-
Step 4
After you know how to pitch, batting is the next part of wiffle ball. Grip the bat and position yourself how you normally would while batting in baseball. Swing as hard as you can, slightly upward. In wiffle ball, it may be easier to hold the bat with only one hand.
