Skittles Vodka
-
1
Separate the Skittles by color. You can mix them, but you might get some odd flavors. If you want to try different combinations, all you'll need are more bottles and more vodka.
-
2
Put about 3/4 cup of Skittles in each water bottle. Fill the bottles with vodka, leaving some air space at the top.
-
-
3
Cap the bottles and shake them well. Store in a cool dark place.
-
4
Shake the bottles daily until all the Skittles have dissolved. This will take several days to a week.
-
5
Strain the vodka through the coffee filters to remove the sediment that has formed. Enjoy!

7
Fill the jar with fruit. Do not pack it in, just fill it lightly.
-
8
Pour vodka over the fruit to fill the jar. Cap the jar.
-
9
Set the jar in a cool, dark place.
-
10
Let it sit for a week or two, and then sample. If you want more fruit taste, let the jar sit longer.

Tips & Warnings
For a tasty liqueur to give for the holidays, fill the jar with blackberries, add two cups of sugar, and fill with vodka. Shake well and let sit for several weeks. You can pick the berries in August and decant the liqueur just before the holidays. Strain and bottle in individual bottles. Don't throw the fruit away. Add some sugar to taste and serve over ice cream or with whipped cream.
DO NOT SERVE the infused fruit to children or pregnant women. DO NOT drink and drive. It may taste delicious, but it's still alcohol and packs all the punch of the vodka it's made from.
