Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Zoom toolEnlarge the picture. Do this so you have a larger view of the eye you will be working on. You can do this by clicking on the magnifying glass in the tool bar section of the screen. Once you have selected this magnifying glass tool, you can then select at the top of the tool bar selection the (+) plus symbol, which enlarges images. Once you have selected this tool, click on the eye in the picture until it is enlarged enough to be easily editable (but not so much that it looks distorted).
-
Step 2
Burn toolSwitch over to the "burn tool". This tool looks like a hand. If you do not see this hand icon, please right click on each icon tool to find it. Some icon boxes give you several tool options to choose from. (See image)
-
Step 3
Adjust the brush size to any 10 pixels in "master diameter" or less with a "hardness" of 0%. You can now use your mouse or mouse pen draw in extra eyelashes to create more length and/or fullness. It is best to follow the flow of the natural eyelashes and start the drawing of each lash from the eyelid base out.
-
Step 4
Change the brush size to a larger size. Choose something large enough to be able to outline the lid of the person's eye. Try to stay in the persons eyelid somewhat, as if applying actual eyeliner to a human eye. This effect will give the eye a fuller look. If you find yourself coming out of the eyelid, remember you can always hit ctrl+alt+z to undo the last step you did or simply using the backwards option under "edit" in the top tool bar menu.
-
Step 5
Select the magnifying glass tool. Then, decrease the size of your image and see how it's looking as you continue to enhance the eyelashes. When you are satisfied with the look..click save!!!!
