Things You'll Need:
- Cell phone
- Stinky food
- Long nails
-
Step 1
Keep your cell phone ringer volume always turned up. Bonus points if the ring tone is annoying - and even good ring tons can become annoying after they have gone off for the 10th time in one day.
-
Step 2
Answer and conduct your personal cell phone conversations in your cube, or the nearby break room / kitchen.
-
Step 3
Have extended, non-work related conversations. All of your coworkers love nothing more than hearing about your drunken escapades, sore boobs from your boob job, your Myspace stalkers, your last 15 bad dates, etc.
-
Step 4
Leave your headphones on your desk while it is still blasting music.
-
Step 5
Constantly laugh out loud or sing with whatever you are listening to with your headphones.
-
Step 6
Click long nails always on your keyboard or on the desk when you are impatiently waiting for something to finish.
-
Step 7
Cook something foul in the microwave - those foods that create smells that permeate the office for hours after the meal has been consumed. Sure, there are the "trying something new" accidents, but what I mean is knowing that something will smell awful, and bringing it with you on a daily basis.

on 6/18/2009 Excellent piece. Very well-written with a great sense of humor. I've worked with some people who have done each of these, and they definitely work! 5 stars and a recommendation!
