Indian Poker is just funny!
Indian Poker is just funny!

Indian Poker is a very easy game to play and guaranteed to be amusing. This is a poker game that even young children can play. Grab a deck of cards and come along.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Indian Poker is played with only one playing card - how hard can this be?! Determine the first dealer by dealing out cards, one at a time and face up to each person until the first ace appears. That person will be the first dealer.

  2. Step 2

The first dealer should shuffle the cards and deal one card to everyone, face down. No one should look at their own card - this is imperative to a good, fair game of Indian poker!

  3. Step 3

On the count of 3, everyone will pick up their card, still face down and place it, face out on their forehead so that everyone else can see their card but they can't. (There's a version of this called 'forehead stud' that is more of a riot as it's played with more cards).

  4. Step 4

The person to the left of the dealer starts the betting in normal poker fashion. If playing with younger children, you can use raisins or nuts as betting 'chips.' Betting continues around the table with a maximum of 3 raises per hand.

  5. Step 5

Once betting has been completed, everyone puts their card down, face up on the table. The high card wins! It's just that easy to play a rousing game of Indian poker!
