Things You'll Need:
- Box of Baking Soda
- Paper Towels or Recycled Newspapers
- Regular Towel
- Vacuum Cleaner
-
Step 1
Locate the spot that your dog went pee on the carpeting. You can usually see the urine carpet spot because it is darker than other areas of the carpeting.
-
Step 2
Soak up as much of the dog urine from the carpet as you can with paper towels or recycled newspapers.
-
Step 3
Sprinkle baking soda all over the dog urine area to help get rid of the urine odor.
-
Step 4
Rub the dog accident area vigorously with a regular towel for the best urine odor control.
-
Step 5
Sprinkle again with baking soda.
-
Step 6
Allow to set for 15 minutes. Keep your dog away from the dog urine area.
-
Step 7
Vacuum. The area should no longer have dog urine odor to it.
