This article will teach you an inexpensive and effective way to remove many red liquid stains from your carpet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

In a small bucket add 2 parts ammonia and 3 parts of very hot water. Make sure you wear waterproof cleaning gloves before attempting to touch chemicals or hot water.

  2. Step 2

Thoroughly soak and wring the washcloth in the water and ammonia mix. Make sure that the entire towel that you are using is wet but not dripping water.

  3. Step 3

First gently try and let the ammonia and hot water pick up the red by firmly pressing on the effected area in the carpet. If necessary apply more water and amonia and scrub the area vigorously with the towel until as much red comes up as possible.

  4. Step 4

Repeat all the steps until the area is as clean as possible. Ventilate the area by leaving windows open if possible. Responsibly dispose of the water and ammonia.
