How to Change an iWeb Site Page Dimensions

IWeb is part of the iLife suite of applications that ships with every new Mac computer. The application was designed for people who have little or no web design experience. The program contains templates and settings the user can employ to build a basic Web page. If the user wants to customize the site, he uses the Inspector to alter elements of the template he is using, including font selection, colors and page dimensions.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch iWeb. Select a Web page from the left column or open a new page.

    • 2

Click the "Inspector" icon at the bottom of the iWeb screen to open the Inspector panel.

    • 3

Click the "Page" icon at the top left corner of the Inspector panel. Select the "Layout" tab.

    • 4

Change the Web page height and width in the areas provided. Change the header and footer height in this section if desired.

    • 5

Publish the site to the Web. View the changes in an Internet browser. If additional adjustments are needed, make them in iWeb and republish the Web page.
