Blogging is a great way for you to publish stories about you, to keep your friends and family informed on what is going on in your life, you can post pictures, videos, and links to your favorite sites. I kind of think of my blog site as my home, it's where I can put my thoughts and display things about me and or my family. I love to cook so you will find recipes and cooking tips on my blog. You can link you blogs to your web site or other social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc. So how do you make your own Blog....

First find a blogging host, there are plenty of free blog sites so don't get dragged into paying for one, like Blogger, Weebly, WordPress. Each one of these sites will have a tour that you can take and see what they have to offer and which one is easiest for you to use.

Once you find one that you like, sign up you will have to come up with a name for your blog, you can use things like your name, business name, you can coincide your content with your name like if you like baseball and your blog with contain a lot of baseball content you could name it "Take me out to the ball game", but remember this will be like the web address for others to find you.

Now the fun begins. Each of these hosting sites comes with free templates, so you don't have to worry about trying to figure out how or where to place your content. So choose your template and colors or back grounds and start adding you content. Most templates have a spot for the Author or a Biography spot, this is where you can tell everyone about yourself.

There you have it your very own Blog. Don't forget to let all your friends and family know about it so they can check it out.
