  1. Step 1

  2. Step 2

    OPEN CONTROL PANEL

From within the Start menu, click the "Control Panel" option. This should appear on the right hand side of the start menu.

Within the Control Panel pop-up window (opened when you clicked "Control Panel" from the Start menu) click "Network and Internet".

  4. Step 4

    OPEN NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER

To find IP addresses, you must use the "Network and Sharing Center" feature. Click that option (should be the top option) to activate this feature.

  5. Step 5

    ACCESS CONNECTION STATUS

Within the Network and Sharing Center, you must access the status of your current connection. To do this, look below the icons representing your connection, to the network connection details. VIEW YOUR IP

Your IP address should be displayed in the resulting window. The IP address is a series of numbers, separated in intervals by dots. Example: 555.555.5.5 (numbers will not all be the same).
