How to Set Up a Proxy Server List
A proxy server is the middleman between the user and the client. It can be used to keep the user anonymous to the client it's trying to connect to, or to cache the web pages. Though finding a proxy server is easy, searching for the right ones are not. There are thousands of proxy servers to date, but with a website of your own, you set up your own proxy-server list and even share your findings with others.

1
Choose a web-hosting service to host your proxy-server list. There are plenty of services available, most of them on a subscription basis. Blogspot is a top service for a free website; it's easy to navigate and user-friendly. Because it is a free service, though, your web page will have a few advertisements.

2
Go to proxy.org (see Resources) and search for any functioning proxy services shown in the proxy selection box. You can also divide each proxy under "Proxy List" by its attributes, such as country, software and ISP.

-
3
Copy down the link locations of all functioning proxy servers you find. Note any details, such as gthe amount of advertisements, if its a secure proxy connection and if there are any bandwidth limits.
-
4
Record your findings on your Blogspot website. Give any notes or characteristics for each proxy server you list for your website so web surfers will know what to expect.
-
5
Keep updating your proxy server list frequently on Blogspot with new finds, or to delete unusable ones. Proxy servers are made every day for the general public to use, but most of them expire or get shut down for other reasons.

Tips & Warnings
Be careful when transmitting private information through a proxy server. Whoever owns the proxy server can track what you type or where you are surfing.
