How to Boost a Clearwire Signal
Clearwire is a wireless broadband Internet service provider. It uses cell phone towers to allow you to connect to the Internet without the need for any wires or modems. Certain areas, especially rural areas, sometimes have problems with low signal strength, which can reduce connectivity. Also, certain areas in a home might have obstructions that reduce signal strength. You can boost your Clearwire signal strength with the addition of an easy-to-install antenna.

1
Purchase a Clearwire Accessory Antenna. Visit Clearwire's website or your local Clearwire office to purchase the one that works best with your current device.
-
2
Insert the disk that comes with the antenna. Follow the wizard prompts to install the antenna software. You will be prompted to connect the antenna during the process.

3
Connect your antenna. Some models connect to your Clearwire wireless device, while others connect via USB cable.

4
Allow the software and your operating system to recognize the antenna and finish the installation.
