      Use a jeweler's cloth to gently wipe the gold free of any dirt, debris or tarnish.

      Add a tablespoon of baking soda to a pot of boiling water and drop the gold in for 30 seconds. Take the gold item out and wipe it with a soft clean cloth or jeweler's cloth.
