Step 1
Welcome guests to your flip flop party with a flip flop wreath on the door.Decorate your space for the flip flop party. Buy 3 pairs of cheap flip flops and hot glue to a basic floral wreath. Hang on the door to greet your guests.
For a cheap table cloth, buy flip flop material to use as a table cloth. Be sure to go around the edges with pinking shears to keep material from raveling off. -
Step 2
Cut materials into 7 inch lengths and tie.Buy supplies for decorating flip flops. Guests at the party decorate their own pair of cheap flip flops. Stock up on basic cheap flip flops, gross grain ribbon, Korker ribbon (curly,) cotton material, and tulle.
Demonstrate how to decorate. Have each guests cut ribbon or other materials into 7 inch long pieces. Tie the pieces around the flip flop, starting at the toe and working outward. -
Step 3
Nutter Butter cookies are the perfect little flip flops for your flip flop party.Prepare food for your party. Use Nutter Butter cookies and pipe icing straight across, like a flip flop.
Make a super easy flip flop cake, using a heart shaped cake pan. For directions, please see Additional Resources below.
You can also use vegetables, such as cucumbers and carrots sliced long ways. Pipe ranch dip straight across to resemble a flip flop. -
Step 4
Plan for an additional activity. Use white tee shirts and fabric paint. Have girls trace the bottom of a plain, bare flip flop onto the shirt and paint. Once dry, they can add the details of the strap. To do so, paint a backwards V, where the point is in at the top.

Buttons make great flip flop party favors.Give out flip flop party favors before guests leave. Initial buttons for flip flops make great favors. Another great idea is to give out toe nail polish with the small flips flops used to keep polish off of other toes.
