Creating the Mirror
-
1
Clean your piece of glass so that there are no streaks or dirt, which will allow the paint to stay better, and give the mirror a smooth reflection. Glass cleaner followed by a microfiber cloth should get rid of most streaks and dirt.
-
2
Lay the glass out on top of newspapers or old towels to avoid getting paint on the surrounding area. Paint outside or in a ventilated room, and use gloves to avoid smudging the glass or getting paint on your hands.

3
Spray the glass in even sweeps in the same direction to ensure the paint is smooth and even. Let the paint dry and repeat for as many coats as necessary.
-
4
Spray or paint the sealer on top of the silver paint to help prevent scratches or smudges. One coat should be sufficient. Allow the sealer to dry completely before handling the mirror.
-
5
Frame your mirror if desired and put it on display.
