How to Make a Harmonica Holder

Few instruments are associated with American popular music as fervently as the harmonica. To be sure, there is the guitar ... and then there is the harmonica. While some harmonica players play the instrument "wet" (meaning with both hands), others prefer it locked in a neck rack. Rather than spend money on a professional neck rack, you can fashion one for no cost whatsoever.

Things You'll Need

• A Wire Coat Hanger
• Pliers

Instructions

1. Find a wire hanger.

2. Using the pliers, untwist the neck of the hanger.

3. Form two loops on either end of the hanger. These loops will hold your harmonica, so feel free to use the harp for frame of reference.

4. Bend the hanger so it fits around the back of your neck.

5. Stand the loop ends up close to your mouth, and insert your harmonica.
