How to Display the Outlining Toolbar in Word

Microsoft Office Word is arguably the most powerful word processing program that has ever been developed, and with every edition, it just becomes a more powerful tool for creating compositions of any style and for any occasion. The newest version of Microsoft Office Word has an interface that looks intimidating at first, with multiple tabs above the work space, but the tabs allow a user to easily and quickly move from toolbar to toolbar, so the ideas for the composition are less likely to be lost. Microsoft Word becomes tricky when the user moves from creating regular documents to doing things like inserting graphs and charts or adding images or making outlines of existing documents. Some toolbars are difficult to find if you're not used to Microsoft Word. To open these toolbars, you have to click on the appropriate tab and then click on the appropriate heading to find your way.
